Dondeena Griffiths, M.D.

Dr. Griffiths was born in Bremerton, Washington but lived in Los Angeles, California from age six. After graduating from high school she served as Photographers Mate in the US Navy from 1967 till 1971, primarily at Pensacola N.A.S. photo school, with one year at Pearl Harbor.
She completed undergraduate school at the University of West Florida at Pensacola and Medical School at the University of South Florida at Tampa. Upon graduation from medical school she completed two years of a general surgery residency and four years of a diagnostic radiology residency at Bridgeport Hospital in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She then fulfilled a nuclear medicine fellowship at Yale University's New Haven Hospital.
In 1988 Dr. Griffiths moved to Philadelphia where she worked at Pennsylvania Hospital for two years. She has been a member of the Salem area medical community and part of Salem Radiology Consultants since 1990. She specializes in Nuclear Medicine.
Dr. Griffiths lives in Salem and enjoys photography, computers, gardening and other outdoor activities.
