Dr. George was born and raised in West Des Moines, Iowa. He attended Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, and then entered medical school at the University of Iowa in 1993. After medical school, he stayed at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for residency in diagnostic radiology and for a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology. He joined Salem Radiology Consultants in July of 2003.

He enjoys running, hiking, snow shoeing, and golfing. He is married to Teresa George, who is a Physician Assistant at Dermatology Clinic, P.C. in Salem. They have two boys; Tommy (born in November 2004) and Eddie (born in July, 2006).
