Dr. Michael Pass grew up in Salem, and graduated from South Salem High in 1990. He completed his undergraduate degree at Bob Jones University, and then received his medical degree from OHSU in 1999. With a plan to pursue a career as an interventional radiologist he completed a surgical internship at OHSU in 2000.
He went to Seattle for his diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Washington. After residency completion in 2004, He finished his training as an interventional radiology fellow at the Dotter Institute at OHSU. Dr. Pass is certified with the American Board of Radiology (2004). His clinical interests include vascular interventions for peripheral vascular disease, evaluation and interventional treatment of venous disease, and non-invasive vascular imaging.
Outside of work, Dr.Pass enjoys playing basketball, golfing, and an occasional run. He has had less time for these activities as his family continues to grow. His wife and two boys have been very supportive during training, and he loves spending time with them. Other interests include church activities, reading, Mariner games, ESPN, and amateur astronomy.
